Suspension of the validity for movement purposes of the identification document

Article 33

The official veterinarian shall suspend the validity for movement purposes of the identification document by making an appropriate entry in Section III thereof where an equine animal is kept on or comes from a holding which is: (a) subject to a prohibition order as referred to in Article 4(5) of Directive 2009/156/EC; or (b) situated in a Member State that is not a Member State free of African horse sickness or in a part of the territory of a Member State considered in accordance with Article 5(2) of Directive 2009/156/EC as infected with African horse sickness.
