General tolerance

Article 64

1.   By way of derogation from the provisions of Article 61, non-originating materials may be used in the manufacture of a given product, provided that their total value does not exceed 10 % of the ex-works price of the product. Where, in the list, one or several percentages are given for the maximum value of non-originating materials, such percentages must not be exceeded through the application of the first subparagraph. 2.   Paragraph 1 shall not apply to products falling within Chapters 50 to 63 of the Harmonised System.
