Entry into force

Article 49

This Regulation shall enter into force on the day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union . It shall apply from 1 January 2016. However, Article 8 shall apply from 1 February 2016. The provisions on fishing opportunities set out in Articles 25, 26 and 27 and Annexes IE and V for the CCAMLR Convention Area shall apply from the dates specified therein.
