Entry into force and application
Article 14
This Regulation shall enter into force on the 20th day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union . It shall apply from 22 February 2020, except in respect of infant formula and follow-on formula manufactured from protein hydrolysates, to which it shall apply from 22 February 2021. For the purposes of the second subparagraph of Article 21(1) of Regulation (EU) No 609/2013, in respect of infant formula and follow-on formula manufactured from protein hydrolysates the later date referred to in the second paragraph of this Article shall be considered as the date of application.
