Approval of disease control aquatic food establishments
Article 179
Operators of disease control aquatic food establishments shall: (a) ensure that the necessary approval in accordance with Article 4 of Regulation (EC) No 853/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council ( 62 ) has been obtained; and (b) apply to the competent authority, in accordance with Article 180(1), for approval to slaughter or process aquatic animals for disease control purposes in accordance with point (b) of Article 61(1), Article 62 and Articles 68(1), 79 and 80 and the rules adopted pursuant to Article 63 and Articles 70(3) and 71(3).
