Format, time requirements and specific rules for the use of the CHED
Article 58
The Commission shall, by means of implementing acts, lay down rules on: (a) the format of the CHED and the instructions for its presentation and use, taking into account relevant international standards; and (b) the minimum time requirements for prior notification of consignments by operators responsible for the consignment as provided for in point (a) of Article 56(3) in order to enable the competent authorities of the border control post to perform official controls in a timely and effective manner. Those implementing acts shall be adopted in accordance with the examination procedure referred to in Article 145(2).
