Rights in rem

Article 22

1.   An EU trade mark may, independently of the undertaking, be given as security or be the subject of rights in rem . 2.   At the request of one of the parties, the rights referred to in paragraph 1 or the transfer of those rights shall be entered in the Register and published. 3.   An entry in the Register effected pursuant to paragraph 2 shall be cancelled or modified at the request of one of the parties.
