Classification of pig carcasses

Article 5

Member States may further subdivide into subclasses the pig carcass classification classes laid down in point B.II of Annex IV to Regulation (EU) No 1308/2013. Member States may authorise further assessment criteria, in addition to weight and estimated lean meat percentage referred to in point B.II of Annex IV to Regulation (EU) No 1308/2013, to determine the commercial value of the pig carcasses.
