Time control process
Article 181
1. The control target of the electrical time control process shall be to control the average value of the system frequency to the nominal frequency. 2. Where applicable, all TSOs of a synchronous area shall define in the synchronous area operational agreement the methodology to correct the electrical time deviation, which shall include: (a) the time ranges within which TSOs shall endeavour to maintain the electrical time deviation; (b) the frequency setpoint adjustments to return electrical time deviation to zero; and (c) the actions to increase or decrease the average system frequency by means of active power reserves. 3. The synchronous area monitor shall: (a) monitor the electrical time deviation; (b) calculate the frequency setpoint adjustments; and (c) coordinate the actions of the time control process.
