Decision on the application

Article 32

1.   Applications shall be decided on no later than 96 hours after the submission of an application which is admissible in accordance with Article 19. 2.   Exceptionally, when a request for additional information or documentation is notified, and when the applicant is invited to an interview, the period laid down in paragraph 1 of this Article shall be extended. Such applications shall be decided on no later than 96 hours after the submission of the additional information or documentation by the applicant. When the applicant is invited to an interview as referred to in Article 27(4), the application shall be decided on no later than 48 hours after the interview has taken place. 3.   Before expiry of the deadlines referred to in paragraphs 1 and 2 of this Article, a decision shall be taken to: (a) issue a travel authorisation in accordance with Article 36; or (b) refuse a travel authorisation in accordance with Article 37.
