Subject matter and scope

Article 1

1.   This Regulation establishes the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (‘BEREC’) and the Agency for Support for BEREC (the ‘BEREC Office’). 2.   BEREC and the BEREC Office shall, respectively, replace and succeed the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications and the Office, which were established by Regulation (EC) No 1211/2009.
