Article 44

1. Article 237 of Regulation (EU, Euratom) 2018/1046 shall apply mutatis mutandis for the selection of experts subject to any specific procedure laid down in the basic act of the programme the implementation of which is entrusted to the PPP body. The PPP body may use the lists drawn up by the Commission or by other Union or PPP bodies. The PPP body may, if deemed appropriate and in duly justified cases, select any individual with the appropriate skills from outside the lists. 2. Article 238 of Regulation (EU, Euratom) 2018/1046 shall apply mutatis mutandis to non-remunerated experts.
