Requirements for the European framework for statistical business registers
Article 9
1. The statistical and legal units covered in the European framework for statistical business registers in accordance with Article 8 shall be characterised by the elements set out in both of the following points, which are further specified in Annex III: (a) the register detailed topics and unique identifier; (b) the time reference and periodicity. 2. The Commission may adopt implementing acts specifying the variables related to the register detailed topics listed in Annex III. Those implementing acts shall be adopted in accordance with the examination procedure referred to in Article 23(2). 3. When adopting implementing acts pursuant to paragraph 2, the Commission shall ensure that no significant additional cost or burden is imposed on the Member States or on the respondents.
