Granting of the payment

Article 40

1. Farmers shall be granted the crop-specific payment for cotton for hectares that are eligible as established in Article 38. 2. In the case of farmers who are members of an approved interbranch organisation, the crop-specific payment for cotton for hectares that are eligible within the base area laid down in Article 38(1) shall be increased by an amount of EUR 2.
