Information from third parties

Article 11

Without prejudice to Article 20(1), in the programming and implementation of the evaluation and monitoring activities, the Commission may take into account information related to the implementation of the Schengen acquis , provided by third parties, including independent authorities, non-governmental organisations and international organisations. The Commission shall inform the Member States of the information provided by third parties which it identifies as being relevant to the programming of evaluation and monitoring activities. Member States shall then have the opportunity to comment on the substance of that information.
