Review of the designation
Article 2
1. The Commission, in consultation with the Network, shall review the designation of Union testing facilities on a regular basis in order to ascertain that Union testing facilities fulfil the conditions for their designation and the requirements set out in Articles 21(3), 21(5) and 21(6) of Regulation (EU) 2019/1020. 2. A time-limit for review of the designation of the Union testing facility shall be set out in the decision to designate the testing facility. 3. Where a Union testing facility fails to comply with the conditions for its designation and the requirements set out in Articles 21(3), 21(5) and 21(6) of Regulation (EU) 2019/1020, the Commission, after consultation with the Network, shall, where appropriate, withdraw the designation.
