ANNEX VI ‘ANNEX VIII Determination of eligible Member States pursuant to Article 22b(3) Installations in certain Member States may benefit from additional free allocation for district heating pursuant to Article 10b(4) of Directive 2003/87/EC. 1. METHODOLOGY According to Article 10b(4) of Directive 2003/87/EC, the following condition shall be met for the average of the years 2014 to 2018, for Member States to be eligible for additional free allocation pursuant to Article 22b(3): 2. ELIGIBLE MEMBER STATES According to the methodology described in point 1, installations located in the following Member States may benefit from additional free allocation pursuant to Article 22b(3): (a) Bulgaria; (b) Czechia; (c) Latvia; (d) Poland. ’.
