Article 12
1. The EUSR shall apply the rules laid down in Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 of the European Parliament and of the Council ( 3 ) , as well as the relevant implementing rules adopted by the High Representative. 2. The EUSR shall protect individuals with regard to the processing of their personal data in accordance with the rules laid down in Regulation (EU) 2018/1725 of the European Parliament and of the Council ( 4 ) , as well as the relevant implementing rules adopted by the High Representative.
