Article 2
Article 3 of Regulation (EU) No 582/2011 is amended as follows: (1) in paragraph 1, second subparagraph, the second sentence is deleted; (2) paragraph 3 is replaced by the following: ‘3. In order to receive an extension of the EU type-approval of a vehicle with regard to emissions type-approved under this Regulation with a reference mass exceeding 2 380 kg but not exceeding 2 610 kg, the manufacturer shall meet the requirements set out in Section 5 of Annex VIII unless CO 2 emissions and fuel consumption values for such vehicles are determined in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2017/2400.’ .
