Definitions
Article 2
For the purposes of this Regulation, the following definitions shall apply: (1) ‘applicant’ means a holder of a certificate, licence or other document, issued in accordance with the laws of a third country who is applying for a student air traffic controller licence to be issued in accordance with this Regulation or for the acceptance of a certificate for the purpose of providing instructions and assessment; (2) ‘certificate’ means a document issued in accordance with the laws of a third country, attesting to compliance with civil aviation rules; (3) ‘credit’ means the recognition by the competent authority of the training undertaken by the holder of an air traffic controller licence issued in accordance with the laws of a third country for the purpose of applying for a student air traffic controller licence to be issued in accordance with this Regulation.
