Entry into force and application

Article 8

This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union . It shall apply from 1 January 2026 for the calculation of the cost-optimal levels of minimum energy performance requirements for buildings and building elements, which are to be reported to the Commission by 30 June 2028.
