For a transitional period until 3 December 2026, the use of animal and public health certificates issued in accordance with the model set out in Annex II to Decision 2005/290/EC, as applicable before the amendments made to that Annex by this Decision, shall continue to be authorised for the entry into the Union of consignments of fresh meat intended for human consumption of domestic porcine animals from Canada, provided that those certificates were issued no later than 3 September 2026.
