ANNEX II The Annex to Implementing Regulation (EU) No 540/2011 is amended as follows: (1) in Part B, entry 44 on maltodextrin is deleted; (2) in Part D, the following entry is added: No Common Name, Identification Numbers IUPAC Name Purity ( 1 ) Date of approval Expiration of approval Specific provisions ‘57 Maltodextrin CAS No: 9050-36-6 CIPAC No: 801 None allocated ≥ 853 g/kg maltodextrin with chain lengths 3 – 20 monomer units; with dextrose equivalence (DE) 18-20. 3 March 2026 3 March 2041 For the implementation of the uniform principles as referred to in Article 29(6) of Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009, the conclusions of the renewal report of maltodextrin dated 11 December 2025 and in particular Appendices I and II thereto, shall be taken into account. In this overall assessment Member States shall pay particular attention to the protection of honeybees.
