ANNEX II The Annex to Implementing Regulation (EU) No 540/2011 is amended as follows: (1) in Part A, entry 57 on mecoprop-P is deleted; (2) in Part E, the following entry is added: No Common Name, Identification Numbers IUPAC Name Purity ( 1 ) Date of approval Expiration of approval Specific provisions ‘17 Mecoprop-P CAS No: 16484-77-8 CIPAC No: 475 (2R)-2-(4-chloro-2-methylphenoxy) propanoic acid ≥ 890 g/kg 4-chloro-2-methylphenol (PCOC) < 5 g/kg 1 October 2026 30 September 2033 For the implementation of the uniform principles as referred to in Article 29(6) of Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009, the conclusions of the renewal report on mecoprop-P of 30 June 2026 and any subsequent updates, and in particular Appendices I and II thereto, shall be taken into account. In this overall assessment Member States shall pay particular attention to: — the nature and magnitude of residues in food of plant and animal origin to evaluate the dietary exposure of consumers; — the protection of resident children; — the protection of operators and workers in particular during mixing and loading and while inspecting treated crops; — the protection of non-target terrestrial plants and birds. Conditions of use shall include risk mitigation measures, where appropriate. The applicant shall submit the full report of the Avian Reproduction Test performed according to OECD Test Guideline 206 as confirmatory information by 1 April 2027.’ ( 1 ) Further details on the identity and specification of the active substance are provided in the renewal report.
