Subject matter and scope
Article 1
1. This Regulation lays down the rules regarding the requirements of cybersecurity, technical interoperability, semantic interoperability, operations and service management in relation to the processing by the Commission as processor for MyHealth@EU and its responsibilities towards the joint controllers. It provides the necessary measures for the technical development of MyHealth@EU, detailed rules concerning the security, confidentiality and protection of personal electronic health data and the conditions for compliance checks necessary to join and remain connected to MyHealth@EU. 2. Article 7, except for paragraph 1, point (a), and Articles 8 to 13 shall apply mutatis mutandis to authorised participants referred to in Article 24(2) and (3) of Regulation (EU) 2025/327. Compliance checks and technical tests for such authorised participants may also cover additional requirements relevant for them.
