AN ACT TO INCREASE THE MONTHLY SALARIES OF THE NATIVE FILIPINO PUBLIC SCHOOL TEACHERS OF MANILA AND VICINITY.

Section 1

SECTION 1. Until the salaries of all school-teachers can be properly adjusted by general law establishing a proper school system m the Islands, the monthly salaries of the native Filipino schoolteachers now teaching in the public schools of the city of Manila and in the suburbs of Pandacan, Pasay, Singalon, and Santa Ana, shall be increased thirty-three and one-third per cent over and above their present salaries.

Section 2

SEC. 2. The increase provided for in the first section of this Act shall apply to the salaries to be paid for the month of October, nineteen hundred.

Section 3

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
