SECTION 1. The amount of the bond of disbursing officers shall be fixed by the Insular Treasurer, and the sufficiency of the surety or sureties thereon shall be approved by him, and the bond shall be filed with him and safely kept.

AN ACT TO AMEND ACT NUMBERED ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY-FIVE, ENTITLED "AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE APPOINTMENT OF DISBURSING CLERKS IN THE VARIOUS CIVIL DEPARTMENTS, BUREAUS, AND OFFICES, PRESCRIBING THE DUTIES OF DISBURSING CLERKS, AND FIXING THEIR COMPENSATION AS SUCH."
SEC. 2. The public good requiring the speedy enactment of this Act, its passage is hereby expedited in accordance with section two of "An Act prescribing the order of procedure by the Commission in the enactment of laws," passed September twenty-sixth, nineteen hundred.
SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
