Section 1

SECTION 1. No Act passed by the Philippine Legislature shall in effect until fifteen days alter its promulgation unless otherwise expressly provided.

Section 2

SEC. 2. The promulgation of a law shall be understood to have been made on the day when the publication of same in the Official Gazette of the Philippine Islands shall have been completed.

Section 3

SEC. 3. All Acts directly or indirectly in conflict with the provisions of this Act are hereby repealed.

Section 4

SEC. 4. This Act shall lake effect at the opening of the next session of the Legislature. Enacted, May 20, 1909.
