SECTION 1. (a) The paragraph headed "Bureau of Constabulary" of section one of Act Numbered Twenty-two hundred and eight is hereby amended to read as follows : "BUREAU OF CONSTABULARY. "For salaries and wages and duly authorized contingent expenses of the Bureau of Constabulary, including maintenance and repair of Insular buildings, for use in the Moro Province, the Mountain Province, and the Provinces of Agusan and Nueva Vizcaya, nine hundred and eighty thousand pesos. "The appointment in the manner and at the salaries provided by law of one additional lieutenant-colonel and assistant director, one additional major, three additional captains, five additional first lieutenants, and five additional second lieutenants is hereby authorized." (b) The last paragraph of said section is hereby amended to read as follows: "Total of appropriations for all purposes except for the Bureau of Forestry, one million six hundred and eighty-seven thousand five hundred pesos."
