SECTION 1. The sum of fifteen thousand pesos is hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the Insular Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to be expended, jointly with funds already deposited for the same purpose in the provincial treasury of the Province of Batangas, for the construction of a school in the barrio of Talaga, municipality of Tanawan, Province of Batangas, as a memorial to Apolinario Mabini.

AN ACT APPROPRIATING FIFTEEN THOUSAND PESOS TO INCREASE THE FUNDS SET ASIDE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SCHOOL IN THE BARRIO OF TALAGA, MUNICIPALITY OF TANAWAN, PROVINCE OF BATANGAS, AS A MEMORIAL TO APOLINARIO MABINI, PRESCRIBING REGULATIONS FOR THE EXPENDITURE OF SAID FUNDS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
SEC. 2. The building to be constructed with both said funds shall have on its facade, a bust or relief figure of Apolinario Mabini and such inscriptions in bronze or marble as may be approved in accordance with existing regulations.
SEC. 3. Any balance of the funds herein appropriated remaining unexpended upon the completion of the building may be expended for the repair of the road leading from the school grounds to the provincial road that passes through the barrio referred to, and for the acquisition, care, and suitable arrangement of the place where Apolinario Mabini was born and lived.
SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
