SECTION 1. Section six hundred and sixty-nine of the Administrative Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "SEC. 669. Civil-service status of municipal treasurers.— Municipal treasurers, though partly paid from municipal funds, shall nevertheless be deemed included in the definition given in the last preceding section, and as such shall be subject to the examination requirements and disciplinary provisions of this chapter and enjoy the same protection and privileges as the persons mentioned in said section."

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect on its approval. Approved, February 18, 1918.
