AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION TWO HUNDRED AND SEVENTY-SIX OF ACT NUMBERED TWENTY-SEVEN HUNDRED AND ELEVEN, KNOWN AS THE ADMINISTRATIVE CODE, PROVIDING HOW ACCRUED LEAVE MAY BE GRANTED.

Section 1

SECTION 1. Section two hundred and seventy-six of Act Numbered Twenty-seven hundred and eleven, known as the Administrative Code, is hereby amended to read as follows:

"SEC. 276. Persons entitled to accrued leave.-Schedule.-After at least two years' continous, faithful, and satisfactory service, the proper Head of Department shall, subject to the requirements of the public service, grant each regularly and permanently appointed officer or employee in the Philippine Civil Service, except as hereinafter provided, accrued leave of absence with full pay, inclusive of Sundays and holidays, for each year of satisfactory service in the Islands, or abroad, if specially detailed, in accordance with the following schedule:

"An employee receiving an annual salary of less than one thousand eight hundred pesos shall be granted twenty dasys' leave; an employee receiving an annual salary of from one thousand two hundred to one thousand eight hundred pesos with board and quarters, and an officer or employee receiving an annual salary of one thousand eight hundred pesos or more, but less than three thousand six hundred pesos, shall be granted thirty day's leave; an officer or employee receiving an annual salary of three thousand six hundred pesos or more shall be granted thirty five days' leave."

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect on its approval.
