Section 1

SECTION 1. Act Numbered Twenty-five hundred and seventy-eight is hereby amended to read as follows: "SECTION 1. There is hereby created a school of the University of the Philippines to be known as 'The School of Forestry.' It shall embrace all work hitherto carried on in the Forest School of the University of the Philippines. "SEC. 2. The Director of Forestry shall be ex-officio Dean of the School of Forestry, serving in such capacity without additional compensation. He is hereby also authorized to detail to the School of Forestry for part time such regular members of the Bureau of Forestry as may be necessary for the giving of instruction to the students of the School of Forestry."

Section 2

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect on its approval. Approved, March 16, 1923.
