AN ACT AMENDING ACT NUMBERED ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY-THREE, ENTITLED "AN ACT TO INCORPORATE THE CITY OF MANILA."

Section 1

SECTION 1. Section twenty-five of Act Numbered One hundred and eighty-three, entitled "An Act to incorporate the city of Manila," is hereby amended by inserting at its close the following words: "In case of the absence or sickness or inability to act for any other reason, of the head of one of the municipal departments, the officer next in charge of that department shall be authorized to sign all necessary papers, such as vouchers, requisitions, and so forth."

Section 2

SEC. 2. The public good requiring the speedy enactment of this bill, the passage of the same is hereby expedited in accordance with section two of "An Act prescribing the order of procedure by the Commission in the enactment of laws," passed September twenty-sixth, nineteen hundred.

Section 3

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
