AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION THREE HUNDRED TWENTY-TWO OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE CODE SO AS TO EXEMPT BONDED OFFICIALS OF THE GOVERNMENT FROM THE PAYMENT OF PREMIUMS AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

Section 1

SECTION 1. Section three hundred twenty-two of the Administrative Code is hereby amended to read as follows:

"SEC. 322. Payment of premium.—The bureau, office, province, municipality, or other branch of the Government to which the officer insured pertains shall pay the whole premium on his bond. When an official is acting in a bonded capacity for two or more governmental units the premium on his bond shall be paid by the respective units served in such proportion and in such manner as the Insular Auditor shall determine."

Section 2

SEC. 2. The provisions of sections three hundred twenty-three and three hundred twenty-four of the Administrative Code are hereby repealed.

Section 3

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
