Section 1

SECTION 1. Section nine hundred and sixty-seven of Act Numbered Twenty-seven hundred and eleven, known as the Administrative Code of nineteen hundred and seventeen, is hereby amended by adding, at the end thereof, the following paragraph: "Physicians who have received the certificate, or diploma, or degree, showing that they are graduates of the School of Hygiene and Public Health, University of the Philippines, or of a similar school of any other university recognized by the Philippine Government as of good standing, shall, upon recommendation of the Director of Health with the concurrence of the Secretary of Public Instruction, be admitted to the commissioned service in the grade of surgeon without passing the requisite civil service examination."

Section 2

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect on its approval. Approved, December 5, 1927.
