Section 1

SECTION 1. The sum of twenty-four thousand pesos, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated, out of any general funds of the Insular Government not otherwise appropriated, to be expended for the acquisition by purchase, expropriation or otherwise, of the land, with the improvements thereon, that formerly belonged to the parents of Doctor Jose Rizal and on which the latter was born, situated in the municipality of Calamba, Province of Laguna, Philippine Islands, and to convey the same, upon its acquisition, to the aforesaid municipality, subject to the obligation imposed by Act Numbered Twenty-nine hundred and sixty-three.

Section 2

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect on its approval.
