AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR THE SEPARATION OF THE OFFICES OF SECRETARY AND TREASURER OF THE PROVINCE OF BATANES AND MAKE APPLICABLE TO SAID PROVINCE THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION TWO THOUSAND AND NINETY-EIGHT OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE CODE, AS AMENDED.

Section 1

SECTION 1. The Provincial Board of Batanes is hereby authorized to separate the office of provincial secretary from that of provincial treasurer. The provisions of section two thousand and ninety-eight of the Administrative Code, as amended by Acts Numbered Thirty-four hundred and seventy-six, and Thirty-six hundred and eighty-two, are hereby made extensive and applicable to the Province of Batanes.

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect on its approval.
