AN ACT AMENDING ACT NUMBERED ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY-THREE, ENTITLED, "AN ACT TO INCORPORATE THE CITY OF MANILA."

Section 1

SECTION 1. Section thirty-nine of Act Numbered One hundred and eighty-three, on titled "An Act to incorporate the city of Manila," is hereby amended by adding at the end of said section: "Any person who shall willfully and corruptly swear or testify falsely lo any material matter under such oath shall be guilty of perjury and shall be punished by imprisonment for not less than two nor more than ten years."

Section 2

SEC. 2. The public good requiring the speedy enactment of this bill, the passage of the same is hereby expedited in accordance with section two of "An Act prescribing the order of procedure by the Commission in the enactment of laws," passed September twenty-sixth, nineteen hundred.

Section 3

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
