Section 1

SECTION 1. The provisions of the customs tariff and regulations promulgated by the United States Military Governor by General Order Number Forty-nine, October twenty-third, eighteen hundred and ninety-nine, be amended to read as follows: "SEC. 22. All supplies and materials for the use of the Army and Navy of the United States, or for the use of the Insular Government, shall, under suitable restrictions, to be prescribed by the Military Governor, be admitted without payment of duty."

Section 2

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect on its passage. Enacted, January 26, 1901.
