AN ACT TO AMEND AN ACT ENTITLED "A GENERAL ACT FOR THE ORGANIZATION OF PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENTS IN THE PHILIPPINE ISLANDS."

Section 1

SECTION 1. To facilitate the collection of revenues for the existing quarter and the rend item by the Collector of Internal Revenue of the Islands of the statements required in section eighteen of the Provincial Government Act, the provincial treasurers appointed under said Act shall not assume their duties as collectors of internal revenue until the beginning of the next quarter of the fiscal year, April first, nineteen hundred and one.

Section 2

SEC. 2. Until March first, nineteen hundred and two, the necessary stationery, blank forms, hooks, etc., used in the collection of internal revenue shall be furnished by the Collector of Internal Revenue of the Islands upon the requisition of provincial treasurers.

Section 3

SEC. 3. This act shall take effect on its passage.
