SECTION 1. Any provision of existing law, executive order or proclamation to the contrary notwithstanding, all locations of mining claims made prior to February eighth, nineteen hundred and thirty-five, within lands set apart as forest reserves under section eighteen hundred and twenty-six of the Revised Administrative Code, which would be valid and subsisting locations except for the existence of said reserves, are hereby declared to be valid and subsisting locations as of the date of their respective locations.

AN ACT DECLARING VALID AND SUBSISTING MINING LOCATIONS WITHIN FOREST RESERVES MADE PRIOR TO FEBRUARY EIGHTH, NINETEEN HUNDRED AND THIRTY-FIVE.
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval by the President of the United States, as provided in section nine of the Act of Congress of August twenty-ninth, nineteen hundred and sixteen.[1]
