AN ACT TO AMEND ACT NUMBERED FORTY-TWO HUNDRED AND TWENTY-SEVEN, ENTITLED "AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND OTHER INCIDENTAL EXPENSES OF THE OFFICERS OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE UNITED STATES AND OTHER GUESTS OF THE PHILIPPINE GOVERNMENT, INCLUDING THEIR FAMILIES, TO ATTEND THE INAUGURATION OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF THE PHILIPPINES AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR," BY INCREASING THE AMOUNT TO TWO HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND PESOS.

Section 1

SECTION 1. Section one of Act Numbered Forty-two hundred and twenty-seven is hereby amended so as to read as follows:

"SECTION 1. The sum of two hundred fifty thousand pesos, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated out of the general fund in the Insular Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to cover the transportation and other incidental expenses of the officers of the Government of the United States and other guests of the Philippine Government, including their families invited to attend the inauguration of the Government of the Commonwealth of the Philippines."

Section 2

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect on October 1, 1935.
