AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF ADDITIONAL WARDS AND FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE SERVICES OF THE PRESENT WARDS OF THE INSULAR PSYCHOPATHIC HOSPITAL AT MANDALUYONG, RIZAL, APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

Section 1

SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated out of any funds in the Insular Treasury not otherwise appropriated the sum of twenty-eight thousand pesos to be expended by the Director of Health with the approval of the Secretary of Public Instruction, for the operation and maintenance of the additional wards in the Insular Psychopathic Hospital at Mandaluyong, Rizal, and for the improvement of the service in said institution including personnel, sundry expenses and furniture and equipment.

Section 2

SEC. 2. Any unexpended balance of this appropriation remaining on December thirty-first, nineteen hundred and thirty-six, shall revert to the unappropriated surplus in the Insular Treasury and the necessary appropriation to cover the expenses for the maintenance and operation of the said wards in succeeding years, including the salary of the additional personnel for the improvement of the service of the whole institution, shall be provided from time to time in the regular annual appropriation.

Section 3

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect on its approval.
