AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE ERECTION OF A MONUMENT TO THE MEMORY OF GENERAL ANTONIO LUNA IN CABANATUAN, PROVINCE OF NUEVA ECIJA, AND TO APPROPRIATE THE NECESSARY FUNDS FOR THE PURPOSE.

Section 1

SECTION 1. The erection of a modest monument or memorial to General Antonio Luna at Cabanatuan, Nueva is hereby authorized to perpetuate the memory and lesson of his tragic death, and to this end the sum of twenty-thousand pesos is hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the Insular Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the erection of said monument, including the acquisition of the necessary site therefor.

Section 2

SEC. 2. The sum herein appropriated shall be disbursed by the Executive Bureau, subject to the approval of the Secretary of the Interior.

Section 3

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect on its approval.
