AN ACT CONVERTING THE CARLES MUNICIPAL HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OP CARLES, PROVINCE OF ILOILO, INTO A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, TO BE KNOWN AS THE CARLES NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.

Section 2

SEC. 2. The Ministry of Education and Culture is directed to take the necessary steps as are necessary for the conversion and operation of the school and immediate implementation of this Act.

Section 3

SEC. 3. The amount of one hundred thousand pesos for the operation of the school shall be funded out of the appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Blg. 131 for the Ministry of Education and Culture intended for new national schools: Provided, That the local government unit concerned shall continue to provide its share in lie cost of operating and maintaining said school. Thereafter, such sum as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Section 4

SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
