SECTION 1. The Manuel A. Roxas Memorial School of Fisheries in the Municipality of Daanbantayan, Province of Cebu, is converted into a college of fisheries, to be known as the Central Visayas College of Fisheries.

AN ACT CONVERTING THE MANUEL A. ROXAS MEMORIAL SCHOOL OF FISHERIES IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF DAANBANTAYAN, PROVINCE OF CEBU, INTO A COLLEGE TO BE KNOWN AS THE CENTRAL VISAYAS COLLEGE OF FISHERIES AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR.
SEC. 2. The college shall offer secondary, collegiate, and special courses and shall be headed by a superintendent.
SEC. 3. The physical and financial assets, liabilities, personnel, equipment, and records of the Manuel A. Roxas Memorial School of Fisheries are hereby transferred to the Central Visayas College of Fisheries.
SEC. 4. The existing appropriations for the Manuel A. Roxas Memorial School of Fisheries are hereby transferred to the Central Visayas College of Fisheries, to be disbursed in accordance with the provisions of this Act. Thereafter, the necessary amount required for the operation and maintenance of the college shall be provided for in subsequent General Appropriations Acts, until which time the operation of the institution as a college shall be deferred, provided that its new name shall take effect upon approval of this Act.
SEC. 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
