AN ACT CONVERTING THE ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR NATIONAL AGRICULTURAL SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF DUMINGAG, PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR, INTO A COLLEGE TO BE KNOWN AS THE ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR AGRICULTURAL COLLEGE.

Section 1

SECTION 1. The Zamboanga del Sur National Agricultural School in the Municipality of Dumingag, Province of Zamboanga del Sur, is hereby converted into a college to be known as the Zamboanga del Sur Agricultural College.

Section 2

SEC. 2. The Zamboanga del Sur Agricultural College shall offer, in addition to its present curricular offerings, such collegiate courses as may be authorized by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports.

Section 3

SEC. 3. The Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports shall take the necessary steps for the immediate implementation of this Act.

Section 4

SEC. 4. The existing appropriations for the Zamboanga del Sur National Agricultural School are hereby transferred to the Zamboanga del Sur Agricultural College, to be disbursed in accordance with the provisions of this Act. Thereafter, the necessary amount required for the operation and maintenance of the college shall be provided for in subsequent General Appropriations Acts, until which time the operation of the institution as a college shall be deferred, provided that its new name shall take effect upon approval of this Act.

Section 5

SEC. 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
