AN ACT ESTABLISHING AN EXTENSION HOSPITAL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TALAVERA, PROVINCE OF NUEVA ECIJA.

Section 1

SECTION 1. There shall be established a ten-bed capacity extension hospital in the Municipality of Talavera, Province of Nueva Ecija, which shall be the extension of the Dr. P. J. Garcia Research and Medical Center, to be known as the Talavera Extension Hospital.

Section 2

SEC. 2. The Chief of Hospital of the Dr. P. J. Garcia Research and Medical Center shall assign or detail medical personnel of the center to the Talavera Extension Hospital on rotation basis: Provided, however, That the particular needs of both hospitals on certain occasions and situations shall be considered in making such assignments.

Section 3

SEC. 3. The amount necessary for the construction and operation of the hospital not to exceed seven hundred fifty thousand pesos shall be funded out of the appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Blg. 131 and Batas Pambansa Blg. 230 for the Ministry of Health intended for new or expanded hospitals. Thereafter, such sum as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Section 4

SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
