AN ACT CONVERTING THE BIKAL BARANGAY HIGH SCHOOL LOCATED AT THE MUNICIPALITY OF CARAMOAN, PROVINCE OF CAMARINES SUR, INTO A FISHERIES SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS BIKAL FISHERIES SCHOOL, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.

Section 1

SECTION 1. The Bikal Barangay High School located at the Municipality of Caramoan, Province of Camarines Sur, is hereby converted into a fisheries school to be known as Bikal Fisheries School and hereinafter referred to in this Act as the School.

Section 2

SEC. 2. The Minister of Education, Culture and Sports is hereby empowered to reorganize the School and to authorize said School to offer, in addition to the general academic curriculum, aquaculture and other technical or technological courses related to fisheries and marine resources.

Section 3

SEC. 3. All assets of the Bikal Barangay High School whether immovable or movable, records and personnel are hereby transferred to the Bikal Fisheries School.

Section 4

SEC. 4. The operation of said school for the current fiscal year shall continue to be funded out of local funds and from its share of national aid to local schools. The requirements for succeeding fiscal years shall be provided in the forthcoming General Appropriations Acts.

Section 5

SEC. 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
